Celebrities live in the eye of the public, both on TV and off.  As fans, our eyes are fixed on the screen.  We cheered on Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) to be with Big in Sex and the City and Rachel (Jennifer Anniston) seemed to have been the perfect fit for Ross in Friends but as faith (screen writers) would have it, Carrie and Rachel had a few more frogs to kiss before nestling down with their prince.  Off the screen, the real lives of our favorite stars are further from fairytales and happy endings.

Picture this: You are having coffee at an undisclosed location and you notice an attractive man checking you out from across the room.  You shoot him a smile and nod your head as if to say, ‘yeah…I’m digging you.’  Immediately after you do this, he quickly turns his head and buries it in the paper.  After some time has gone by and you finish your coffee, you get up to throw your garbage away and you notice that the attractive man is still looking at you.  As you make your way outside of the coffee shop, you shoot him another flirtatious smile and again he immediately looks at the paper.  Annoyed, you walk out.
